Every day is different, and each one has its own charm... but rainy spring days have an unique loveliness. Just hearing the pitter-patter of raindrops makes this small part of me, that I didn't even know existed, come alive. I can't help but throw open a window or simply step outside... close my eyes and get lost in the fresh, evergreen, indescribable scent of rain. During spring, there's also the faint, but sweet, aroma of blooming lilacs, which becomes one with the gusty breeze, and blows across my face, tugging on my hair. Mmmmm... sometimes I wish could lock moments like these into place & always be able to come back to them later...

ReplyDeleteYour images are inspiring. All too often on rainy days I'm curled up inside with a book instead of outside exploring with my camera. Might be because I don't see beauty waiting to be captured in gloomy/rainy days or I don't want to get my camera wet... ;)
Oh, the photo's are beautiful! It has been rainy here as well, and I absolutely love it. Rain is one of my favorite things. Everything is clean and fresh afterwards, perfect.
