At the Lake

Hi everyone! :)

Sorry for the lack of posts this week, I've been super busy trying to catch up with school reading. Can't even remember when I last picked up my Canon... about a week ago I think it was... a crime for a photographer. :P Anyways, since it's already dark out and since indoor lighting is terrible, I'm going to share a few photos from last month. I've actually been meaning to post them for a while, but there was always something else to post and I never really got around to it. But I finally sat down, collected the photos... and here they are!

This is a cake I made a while ago using Olivia's recipe. I think I messed something up because the cake layers came out of the oven unnaturally hard and thin. And just in case you were wondering, lilacs are edible, however, they smell much better than they taste.
